Hi! I'm Vincent (or Boss), the big funny man behind Shlimaz! I'm a queer furry living in the PNW.
I've been drawing since childhood, digitally since I was 13, since then I've been drawn to creating colorful pieces and stuff I find fun! I have a lot of aesthetics and it constantly changes
Things I generally enjoy are mythology, museums, vampires, rhythm games, vocaloid, farming sim games, and reading!

✦ SECTION I ✦
General Information & Preferences
Clients must be over the age of 18 to commission me, especially NSFW artwork.
I have the right as the artist to decline or cancel a commission if I choose to do so.
Heavily referencing, tracing over, editing, or copying my work is not allowed. However, inspiration of my art is allowed; please give credit if you do so.
Clients cannot commission artists to edit or finish artwork done by me.
References must be digital and properly show the character's markings. Clients may provide past artwork done of the character for references!
I do accept VRChat model screenshot references, please be sure to give me a proper color palette to work with.
I do not provide the work files (.clip or .PSD) of commissions.
I will not draw in another artist's style or bend my style to the point that it is not recognizable to me.
All artwork I make will be posted to social media, however, clients can request the commission not be posted publicly; this will result in a +15% fee of the base commission price. If the client would prefer I not post their username on the commission, I can do that instead.
I DO NOT CONDONE THE USE OF MY WORK FOR NFTs, CRYPTOCURRENCY, OR AI GENERATED PROGRAMS. This include anything relating to blockchain technology or teaching of AI programs.
✦ SECTION II ✦
Client Permissions & Deadlines
Clients may upload their commission before I do, I request they add credit to their descriptions.
Clients may use their commissioned work for PERSONAL use as long as they're not selling the product. This includes banners, social media icons, personal websites, personal stickers/mousepads/tshirts/etc)
Clients can not use artwork they commission for MARKET/COMMERCIAL USE (selling merchandise, tshirt designs, sticker clubs, etc) unless they purchase the commercial rights. The fee for this is +300% fee of the total price. Clients may purchase commercial rights at anytime.
Deadlines for commissions are accepted, but will result in a +50% or more fee on the total price, depending on the due date. I will not accept "last minute" (days/a week after ordering) deadlines.
As stated on my Trello, loose deadlines will be placed on queue cards. These are NOT hard deadlines, I use the deadline function to keep me on track of work. The only time I will have a hard deadline is for ones discussed with the client.

Payments, Refunds & Payment Plans
All payments are in USD. I will send the client an invoice via Paypal or Square. I do not accept cryptocurrency for payment under any circumstance.
Payments must be in full unless a payment plan was discussed prior to the invoice being sent, as well as paid within 72 hours of it being sent unless stated otherwise.
Failure to pay the invoice will result in the commission being cancelled.
Refunds are only given if I can no longer work on the commission. I will not give refunds for failure to manage personal finances.
If you are given a refund you do not have the rights to any work done on the commission. I have full rights to re-purpose it. Please contact me if you have questions regarding this.
Payment plants are only an option for commissions that total in $250 or higher. If you need a payment plan please let me know when ordering.
For initial payment, minimum to secure your slot is 30% of the final price.
Ideal payment plans are within 2 weeks (average biweekly paychecks), if you need longer please discuss this with me beforehand.
Commissions will not be worked on until I have full payment.

Turnaround Times & Edits
Current turn around times vary from 2 to 3 months from the final payment. Commissions will never take longer than 6 months.
Clients are free to message me anytime for updates within reason. I work hard to be transparent as possible and my progress on commissions can be viewed on my queue.
Edits are accepted on finished or in-progress commissions. Including but limited to; missing markings, small lineart edits, or incorrect colors.
However, bigger edits to the final art; such as redrawing parts of the image or major lineart changes will result in a fee of $10 or more, depending on what that edit is.
If edits become excessive and nit-picky, I will not do them. (example: asking for minuscule edits on lineart/sketches, constant edits of the same thing) However, I am very lenient with clients and will warn you if things are getting to be out of hand.
✦ Commission Process ✦
First time commissioning me? Here's a basic rundown of how the process will go!
✦ Ordering & Payment ✦
Commissions are taken periodically through my social medias, patreon, and ko-fi.
Patrons on Patreon and Ko-fi members will get early access to these openings (unless I need to open asap), usually 1-2 days before I open publicly.
Any remaining slots after the early opening will be given to the public. I use Google Forms & the Ko-fi commission section to gather information, this all depends on what I'm opening for.
Clients are contacted within 3 business days (during my work days/hours) with their trello queue card. This link will have their commission info on my trello, at that time if any info is missing or if the client forgot to add information in the order; they can update me! (clients can update me at any time either way)
With Ko-fi's commissions, payment is upfront.
With google forms; I will reach out to the client to confirm their commission and give them the final price. Once approved, the invoice will be sent.
✦ WIPs ✦
Works In Progress shots, aka WIPs, are given for all commission types EXCLUDING instream, same-day, or small commissions.
WIPs are given when I first sketch your commission out! This is to make sure everything is to the client's liking before I continue work and finish the commission.
Edits to the sketch work is free, and can be changed as many times as needed. This stage of the commission is important as I cannot do extreme changes when I'm finalizing the work.
During this sketch stage; anything regarding things such as posing, expressions, or things like items being added can be changed (in example; adding a collar or glasses, changing the expression, or entirely changing the pose is possible)
NOTE: If the sketch I provide is scrapped, I have the right to alter it and reuse it. (please feel free to ask for clarifications)
I take any sort of positive response to a WIP as an approval, please be sure to tell me if you need changes upfront in the first message to prevent miscommunication.
After the WIP is approved by the client, I will work on finishing the commission.
✦ Finalizing ✦
Once the commission is done, I will send a high res PNG either via a Dropbox link, or sending as a file (if client and I communicate through Telegram).
The commission will commonly be drawn on a textured gradient background, I can provide a transparent background version or a different color/solid color upon request.
Animated GIFs (commonly icons) will come with a solid color and transparent background.
✦ Design & Adopts ✦
Upon owning a design made by me, you automatically consent to these terms written below.NOTE: Once I have sold a design and it is not longer in my ownership, I will NOT settle personal disputes regarding it.

Resell, gift, or trade the design
Use for commercial purposes (vtubing, merch mascot, etc) after paying commercial rights
When reselling, raise the price depending on how much you've spent on the design in commissions or gifts
Alter the design to your liking

If you obtained the design via gift or trade, I ask to not resell for money value.
Duplicating, copying, or straight up stealing designs by me is not allowed
Using my designs for fursuits (premade or personal) is not only allowed, but encouraged! I love seeing my designs in physical form, please feel free to show me as well. ❤
When reselling, I ask owners to please be fair in pricing. I am not, nor will I ever be, a "brand" designer and I look down on the term. It's dehumanizing.
I'm very lenient with my guidelines, I ask owners of my designs to please be respectful of my wishes.

This commission type is very stylized, because of this markings WILL be simplified.
Designs that are complex may be denied or have a complexity fee starting at $10.
These can also be just chibis, not badges!

Things to note for ref sheets:
NSFW Alternate versions are +$30 to the total price.
Changing or updating your character's design during this process is allowed. Full redesigns will result in a fee starting at $50.

For fullbodies, I can do one fullbody anthro and the other feral if requested.

Front/Back has two fullbodies and one headshot. Turn-arounds are three fullbodies (front/back/side) and one headshot.
Best used for fursuit refrences!
I can draw an additional "bald" headshot for +$25I do not offer NSFW alternative versions for this reference type.

Price includes one 3/4th view fullbody and headshot.
Designing Info
I require AT MINIMUM species, theme, personality, and colors. I do not work well with full artistic freedom.
I recommend creating a moodboard or pintrest board to help give me the general vibe of the design you have in mind.
An example of theme prompt: A prideful wolf/tiger. Red, black, and purple primary colors.
Guidelines
If requested to change the full design (aka scrapping the idea completly), I have full control of it to resell as an adopt.
I will not blatantly copy other's designs, you can send me designs as reference to what you'd like however. I will not make it 100% identical.
Redesigns of current characters are considered custom designs, so I am more than happy to do them!

Badges done on paper with copic markers, commonly used for conventions and fursuiting.
Convention pickup badges are announed on my socials, otherwise all badges are shipped out.Shipping is included in price for orderings within the USA, international orders will have to pay a $20 fee.
When shipping, I will need your LEGAL GOVERNMENT name to prevent the badge from being lost in the mail.
(if you use an alternative name that isnt your furry username, you may give me that instead.)Badges are sketched out digitally and finished on paper. Badge will come laminated with badge clip.
